Catamount Energy Sale Allows Focus on Wind Power

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Catamount Energy Corporation announced that its subsidiary, Catamount Thetford Corporation, has completed the sale of its 44.8-percent interest in the Fibrothetford power plant located in the United Kingdom to Fibrowatt Limited. Fibrowatt is the majority owner of the Fibrothetford facility. Both Catamount’s managing director, Bruce Peacock, and the company president, Joseph Cofelice said the sale allows the company to further focus its efforts on the wind energy businesses. In response to opportunities in the renewable energy sector, Catamount has refocused its strategy toward becoming a developer, owner, and operator of wind energy projects.
