Cape Wind’s President Speaks in Boston

April 14, 2004 [] Cape Wind President Jim Gordon has been invited to speak at the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (CERES) Conference in Boston this week. Cape Wind is the development company behind a proposed 420 MW offshore wind farm between Cape Cod and Nantucket, Massachusetts. Jim Gordon will be speaking on a panel Thursday morning entitled, “Investing in Emerging Energy Solutions: Accelerating the Transition to Clean Energy Through Innovative Technologies”. The CERES 2004 Conference, Critical Decisions for Lasting Prosperity, is being held on April 14 and 15 at the Hyatt Regency in Boston. Some of the other speakers at this year’s CERES Conference include: Jeremy Rifkin, author of several books including Hydrogen Economy, David Gardner, Senior Advisor, CERES and former Director White House Climate Change Task Force, and Vijay Vaitheeswaran, Energy Correspondent for The Economist Magazine.
