Cape Wind Farm Proposal Under Attack

May 11, 2004 [SolarAccess.com] According to Cape Wind Associates, the hopeful wind farm developers of a proposed 420 MW project off the coast of Cape Cod, opponents of the wind farm are now urging the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy to impose a moratorium on all offshore renewable energy projects. Cape Wind is calling out on supporters of renewable energy to send an email message to the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy as they are finalizing policy recommendations to Congress that may impact Cape Wind. The Commission recently released their 500 page report based on their three year review of US Oceans Policy and it contains a section on offshore renewable energy policy.
