Buffalo, NY Seeks Wind Energy Project

August 20, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] The city of Buffalo, New York, is requesting information from companies and individuals interested in designing, engineering, and constructing a demonstration wind energy project. Descriptions of qualifications and proposals are due by 4 p.m September 3. The exact location of the project will depend on various factors, including the ongoing analysis of wind, appropriate siting criteria, including legal and environmental issues, and neighborhood support for the project.
