AWEA Forms Educational Scholarship Fund

Washington, DC [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) announced the launch of its new AWEA Educational Scholarship Fund. In cooperation with the generous support of Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation and Vestas Americas, this new scholarship program was created to provide complimentary conference registration for individuals interested in enhancing their knowledge of the wind industry, including full-time students, faculty and staff of K-12 institutions among others. Several fundraising activities have been held over the past two years to raise funds to establish the scholarship program and we are pleased to offer the first scholarships for WINDPOWER 2007 Conference & Exhibition coming up June 3 – 6, 2007 in Los Angeles, California.
