More than 35 fuel cell industry leaders will exhibit at the 2004 Congressional Fuel Cell Expo on June 22, 2004, in the Cannon Caucus Room of the Cannon House Office Building on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. The event will also feature a fuel cell vehicle available for a ride-and-drive. Rep. Nancy Johnson (R-CT), Rep. John Larson (D-CT), Sen. Conrad Burns (R-MT) and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) are sponsoring this year’s event. All have been invited to provide opening remarks to EXPO attendees and exhibitors. Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham, as well as Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) and Sen. Pete Domenici (R-NM) have also been invited to speak. The General Motors Hydrogen 3 Opel Zafira minivan will be available on Garfield Circle – at the base of the Capitol directly across from the Botanical Gardens – for a Ride-and-Drive by Members of Congress, their staff and the public.
