Virus Alert — Don’t Fall For This One

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] It has come to our recent attention that a cleverly disguised virus has been making its way into some of our readers’ email inboxes (and ours!). We know that you and your virus protection software (which you have, right?!)) are not going to fall for it, but we thought we would alert you just the same. This particular little bugger comes across in variations of the following, with an attached virus, usually a .ZIP file. Dear Renewableenergyaccess Member, We have temporarily suspended your email account jim@renewableenergyaccess.com. This might be due to either of the following reasons: 1. A recent change in your personal information (i.e. change of address). 2. Submiting invalid information during the initial sign up process. 3. An innability to accurately verify your selected option of subscription due to an internal error within our processors. See the details to reactivate your Renewableenergyaccess account. Sincerely, The Renewableenergyaccess Support Team And there are others. So at the risk of stating the obvious, please ignore these items at all times. We would NEVER send you an unsolicited email with an attachment. On the rare occasion we might need our readers to update their accounts we would ONLY send hotlinks bringing you back to our secure site. With all its conveniences, the internet clearly has its annoyances. When in doubt, just hit the delete key. Sincerely, The REAL RenewableEnergyAccess.com team
