Victorian Economy Develops Renewable Energy Measures

Australia [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Releasing its submission on the Victorian Government’s scheme to achieve 10% renewable energy by 2010, the Australian Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BSCE) said Victoria will be creating jobs, cutting greenhouse gas emissions and securing its future energy supply through diversity. The BCSE’s submission identifies three criteria for the scheme: early implementation, incremental growth of renewable energy industry, and a goal of 200 MW of ongoing annual project commitments, which would match Victoria’s future electricity load growth over the next 15 years.
