State May Request RE Education Proposals

February 26, 2003 [] The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC), which administers that state’s Renewable Energy Trust, may soon issue a Request for Proposals inviting qualified potential contractors to submit proposals to present Content Institutes focusing on Renewable Energy to Massachusetts grade 6-12 teachers. The Content Institutes, should the RFP be issued, will closely parallel those institutes presented by the Massachusetts Department of Education and, while funded by MTC, will be presented in close cooperation with the MDOE. View information on MDOE content institutes at the MDOE Web site. In order to meet deadlines, MTC will need to issue an RFP on/about the end of February 2003 and set a deadline for responses on/about March 11, 2003. Awards would be made on/about end of March 2003.
