Solar World: Solar Comes to Wales

Tel Aviv, Israel [UPI] A new production facility for dye-sensitized solar cells plans to tap into the vast, off-grid worldwide market from its headquarters in a somewhat unlikely place for a solar company — Wales. The dye-sensitized cells, a type of thin film cell that offers an alternative to the traditional polysilicon panels often seen on rooftops, are initially destined for use in cell phone chargers, the chief executive officer of G24 Innovations told United Press International.
