SOLAR 2007 Kicks Off in Cleveland

Cleveland, Ohio [] Organized and presented by the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) and by Green Energy Ohio, SOLAR 2007 kicked off this weekend in Cleveland and runs through July 12. The theme of this year’s conference is how “sustainable energy puts America to work”. Highlights of this year’s conference will include: a new economic report on the surprising size and growth of the renewable energy industry; how sustainable energy jobs are breathing new life into the U.S. manufacturing sector; developing the workforce needed for the new energy economy; a special plenary session by Ohio Governor Ted Strickland; along with dozens of plenary sessions, workshops, technical sessions, and forums with leading industry experts.
