Second Fuel Cell Trial in Australia

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (CFCL) of Australia has teamed up with GippsTAFE to install a fuel cell for a combined heat and power (CHP) installation at the GippsTAFE site in Chadstone. The field trial is for an initial period of three months and may be extended by agreement. The companies will work together to complete the timetable for the site preparation works and delivery of the unit in the next few months. This is the second field trial contract signed by CFCL. The first field trial was with the New Zealand electricity utility Powerco, for two units. CFCL is in negotiations for other field trials in Australia and Europe.
