2002-02-14 [] The new American Council for Renewable Energy (ACRE) will sponsor a half-day national policy roundtable on “The Benefits of Renewable Energy” Thursday, February 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at the headquarters of the World Resources Institute in Washington, D.C. Roger Ballentine and Greg Kats will chair the event, that will feature four speakers: Dallas Burtraw of Resources for the Future, Stephen Bernow of the Tellus Institute, Fred Beck of the Renewable Energy Policy Project and Frank Dixon of Innovest Group.
