Ritz Camera to Carry Fuel Cells

Electric Fuel Corporation’s Instant Power(TM) fuel cell chargers for digital cameras and camcorders will be sold in 1,200 Ritz Camera stores.

New York, New York – August 21, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] Electric Fuel Corporation’s Instant Power brand, fuel cell chargers for digital cameras and camcorders will be sold in 1,200 Ritz Camera stores, the nation’s largest retail photo chain and on their Web site ‘Ritzcamera.com’ with additional nationwide distribution from WYNIT, Inc., a distributor of digital imaging products. Based upon Electric Fuel’s zinc-air technology platform, the Instant Power camcorder battery connects to the camcorder through its DC jack and offers up to 10-hours of straight use time, depending upon the product’s make and model. The battery comes complete with a 3-foot cord and has an integral belt clip for convenience of use. The battery offers a 5-year shelf life in the original sealed aluminum pouch. The Instant Power digital camera battery offers 12 hours of continuous operation time, depending upon make and model type and allows for hundreds of photos with just one battery. As with the camcorder battery, the digital camera battery pack comes with a built-in belt clip and 3-foot cord.
