Renewable Energy Partnership Solidified

July 14, 2003 [SolarAccess.com]The Fiorello H. LaGuardia Foundation launched the North American consultation phase of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership, (REEEP), in Washington D.C. last week. The REEEP launched by the British government at last year’s World Summit on Sustainable Development, will aim to provide an open and flexible framework within which partners take joint actions to promote the uptake of sustainable energy. LaGuardia is REEEP’s focal point in North America. According the Foundation, REEEP will provide pipeline of sustainable energy projects chosen not by distant organizations and governments but by local NGOs and businesses.
