Renewable Energy: One Last Chance

[LEGISLATION] Supporters of a bill that would have created a commission to administer a $12 million trust fund to be spent on developing renewable energy in North Dakota say the legislation would define the state’s public policy on renewable energy. Although HB1308 has been watered down considerably, it’s the only significant piece of legislation regarding renewable energy that’s survived the legislative process, said North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Roger Johnson.
