RE Interconnection Data Made Available

August, 13, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] During the past two months, interconnection standards for more than two dozen states have been added to the Database of Incentives for Renewable Energy (DSIRE). Each record includes a detailed summary of the status of a state’s interconnection standards development process, with links to relevant documents. The new DSIRE interconnection records also include information on eligible technologies, applicable sectors, limits on system size or overall enrollment, additional insurance requirements, and external disconnect switch requirements. Contact information also is provided. DSIRE contains information on interconnection standards in 29 states: Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
