Prize for Green Innovation Applications due October 31

Menlo Park, California [] Prominent Silicon Valley venture firm Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers has announced an annual $100,000 “KPCB Prize for Green Innovation” for any entrepreneur or team creating a significant innovation in green technology. The breakthrough can be in green energy generation, storage, conservation, policy, or any other Greentech field. Send a 5-page or shorter executive summary of the innovation, how it will help create a sustainable future, and your team’s background to Applications will be accepted until October 31, 2006 and will be reviewed by a panel of 5 independent judges. The winner will be awarded the Green Prize at the KPCB 2nd annual Greentech Innovation Network Conference in December 2006.
