Online Legal Marketplace Seeks to Transform How Clean Energy Companies Do Business

A new partnership between CleanTech Docs and Cleantech Law Partners (CLP) aims to improve the way legal services are provided to the cleantech and renewable energy sectors with what the companies say is the first online legal platform for those companies.

“Legal counsel and agreements are an essential component of any renewable energy project and cleantech company,” Jack Jacobs, managing partner of Cleantech Law Partners, said in a statement. “I’m sure this alliance will help fill a huge void that many cleantech companies have felt when trying to negotiate legal documents and grow their company.”

Together, CleanTech Docs and CLP will provide online legal services, fixed-fee billing, standardized legal templates and customization services by leading industry attorneys. The partnership said its goal is to allow startups and larger companies to focus more on developing innovative green products and producing clean energy and to spend less time and money on legal services.

“With CLP’s expertise and world-wide presence, this partnership provides CleanTech Docs with the ability to assist customers wherever their companies and projects are located,” Angela Lipanovich, founder and CEO of CleanTech Docs, said.
