New Minnesota Coal Plant Given Renewable Energy Grant

[RENEWABLE ENERGY FUND] Xcel Energy electric customers will help pay for a coal-fired power plant on Minnesota’s Iron Range, in a controversial use of money from the utility’s renewable energy fund.
