Nevada’s PUC Votes on Renewable Energy Rules

April 9, 2004 [SolarAccess.com] Nevada’s Public Utilities Commission is scheduled to vote on adoption of new renewable energy regulations as a result of state legislation enacted last year. The new bill, called the Solar Energy Systems Demonstration Program (Assembly Bil 432), sponsored by Assemblywoman Chris Giunchigliani, D-Las Vegas, would encourage the installation of certain solar energy systems in schools, public buildings and private residences. A public meeting was held on April 8, 2004 in Carson City.
