[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 9, the Environmental and Energy Technology Council of Maine and the Chewonki Foundation will host the first-ever Maine workshop aimed at advancing hydrogen as an attainable source of fuel for the Northeast and showcasing current applications of hydrogen in the region. The workshop, which is open to the public, will provide technical assistance to projects seeking partners and highlight funding sources for development of hydrogen projects. The half-day event entitled “The Hydrogen Energy Economy of New England: Its Current Status and Future Trends,” will be held at the Chewonki Foundation in Wiscasset, which is home to Maine’s first renewable hydrogen system. Tours of the new system will be available. This workshop is the result of a collaboration between the River Valley Growth Council, the Hydrogen Energy Center, The Environmental and Energy Technology Council of Maine and the Chewonki Foundation.
