Kyocera Solar Announces Newest Solar PV Module

Kyocera Solar, Inc. has introduced the highest-wattage Kyocera photovoltaic module for the Americas – the 158-watt KC-158G.

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – June 6, 2002 [] The new multi-crystalline module is ideal for large-scale residential and commercial grid-tied solar electric systems. Its larger size and greater power output result in simpler installations, making solar electric power for homes and businesses more cost effective than ever. The KC-158G features 158 watts of maximum power (6.82 amps and 23.2 volts under Standard Test Conditions); output cables; easier installation due to its integral Multi-Contact heavy-duty box-style anodized aluminum frame; and an industry high 25-year power output warranty. “Many people are discovering the security and lower electric bills that owning a solar electric system brings. By purchasing a solar electric system for their home or business, utility customers are ‘locking in’ their electric costs for many years to come and avoiding future price increases,” said Tom Dyer, VP of Sales. KC-158G modules are sold exclusively through a network of Kyocera-authorized dealers and contractors. For more information, contact Kyocera Solar, Inc. Customer Service Division at 888-576-4921.
