November 15, 2002 [] Pittsburgh continues to lead the nation in green building development, according to Pittsburgh-based Green Building Alliance, which today released its annual Shades of Green report. The report highlights the benefits of green building for Pittsburgh’s economic development, including a more competitive building industry, a more attractive business climate and economic advantages for businesses with workers in green buildings. It documents in detail eight recent successes and provides an inventory of 22 buildings that incorporated green goals into their design and construction.
