Hot springs, more than just recreation sites

Idaho is the fifth most geologically active state in the U.S., easily recognized by the abundance of hot springs in the area. Idaho boasts over 200 hot springs, including 23 commercially developed sites and dozens of hot springs that remain relatively untouched and in a wild state. The City of Lava ý population 400 — is the largest, commercially developed site in the state, hosting thousands of visitors from all over the world who come to enjoy the abundance of hot water.
