GE, Enercon Settle Patent Dispute

May 21, 2004 [SolarAccess.com] Germany’s Enercon GmbH and GE Wind Energy have settled an ongoing patent dispute over variable speed wind turbine technology “on a worldwide and long-term basis by means of a cross-license,” the companies said in a news release. All pending legal disputes on patent infringement have been withdrawn and the enforcement of existing rulings has been lifted.
