Fuel Cell Units Shipped to Germany

June 9, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Fuel Cell Technologies, Ltd. (FCT) has shipped its first 5 kW solid oxide fuel cell, which provides prime power on site by electrochemically converting a variety of readily available fuels into electricity and heat. FCT’s 5 kW SOFC unit built for RWE, successfully passed its factory acceptance test and was shipped to Germany for eventual installation at the Fuel Cell Pavilion, Essen owned by RWE, Germany’s largest electric power supplier.
