Fuel Cell Expo on Capitol Hill

May 22, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] More than 30 fuel cell industry leaders will exhibit at the 2003 Congressional Fuel Cell Expo today in the Cannon Caucus Room of the Cannon House Office Building on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. The event will also feature a number of fuel cell vehicles. Rep. Nancy Johnson (R-CT), and FTA Administrator Jenna Dorn, will provide opening remarks to expo attendees and exhibitors. Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham, Rep. John Larson (D-CT), Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-ND), Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA), Sen. Pete Domenici (R-NM), and Sen. Conrad Burns (R-MT) have also been invited to speak. General Motors’ Hydrogen-3 Zafira, Nissan’s fuel cell X-Terra, the U.S. Army’s Command and Control vehicle that features a fuel cell APU, along with four electric drive and fuel cell buses courtesy of FTA, will be featured this year. The event begins at 10:30 a.m.
