Fuel Cell Contract Approved

June 25, 2003Avista Labs has received approval from the U.S. General Services Administration to sell its Independence 500 fuel cells to the federal government. The contract, which runs through April 30, 2008, allows the 500 W fuel cell to be sold under the classification of power distribution equipment, generators and batteries. Avista Labs currently markets three Independence fuel cell products for commercial and industrial back up power solutions in the 50 W to 5 kW range.
