Fuel Cell Company Seeks Partners

December 3, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] Astris Energi, a developer of alkaline fuel cell power systems, is holding discussions with several possible strategic partners, both in the US and abroad, which have resources sufficient to aid the company in its drive to achieve volume production and global marketing of its electric energy generators. The company’s first truly commercial fuel cell, the POWERSTACK MC250, has advanced to the prototype stage and is currently undergoing a testing program in the headquarters laboratory. A cloud over Astris’s future was removed earlier this month when a lawsuit brought by a former officer and director seeking more than US$1.9 million was dismissed.
