Energy Secretary Rallies Detroit for Hydrogen

February 11, 2003 [] In an address to the Economic Club of Detroit, Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham echoed President Bush’s goals to move toward a hydrogen economy by challenging the city of Detroit to mobilize its skills and talents to devise energy solutions for the nation’s future. Abraham said the President’s programs will mean a golden opportunity for the city to help draw the blueprints for the 21st century economy and a chance for the community and its workers to continue to be on the cutting-edge in shaping the manufacturing world of the future.
