Energy Outfitters to Distribute Evergreen Solar

Energy Outfitters and Evergreen Solar have announced a new national distribution agreement for Evergreen’s EC-50 and EC-100 photovoltaic (PV) modules.

Grants Pass, Oregon – March 21, 2003 [] “Evergreen’s EC modules are a perfect complement to our growing line of solar PV products,” said Bob Maynard, president of Energy Outfitters. “Evergreen’s cost-effective American grown technology is becoming increasingly important to securing our country’s long term energy independence.” Evergreen Solar, with manufacturing facilities in Marlboro, Massachusetts, uses a proprietary String Ribbon(TM) cell technology for its modules. Designed for both off-grid or grid-tie systems, Evergreen’s modules are sized to provide reliable solar electric power for applications such as recreational vehicles, water pumping, communications, outdoor lighting and rural electrification. According to Maynard, Energy Outfitters, a national renewable energy products distributor based in Grants Pass, Oregon, will immediately begin shipping Evergreen’s PV modules to its nationwide dealer/installer network.
