ECD Executive in Johannesburg

September 9, 2002 [] Energy Conversion Devices’ Senior Vice President Nancy M. Bacon, participated in the two-day Parliamentary Workshop on Clean Air and Clean Water organized by the Parliamentarians for Global Action, a membership organization of legislators from 100 countries, held in conjunction with the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg. Bacon discussed the role ECD’s Renewable Energy technologies can play in promoting clean air and clean water while alleviating poverty including Ovonic triple-junction thin-film amorphous silicon photovoltaic and Ovonic nickel metal hydride battery technologies.
