March 24, 2004 [] Under Secretary of Energy Robert Card testified this week at a hearing before the House Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on Energy and Water, noting in his testimony that solar technology “can provide the nation with a widely available domestic energy resource to help meet electricity needs and reduce the stress on our critical electricity infrastructure,” according to the Solar Energy Industries Association (SIEA).
