Consultants Join Green Power Partnership

November 25, 2003 [SolarAccess.com]Navigant Consulting has joined the U.S. EPA’s Green Power Partnership, a voluntary program to reduce the environmental impact of electricity generation by building demand for green power. By enrolling in the U.S. EPA’s Green Power Partnership, organizations pledge to replace a specific portion of electrical load with green power within one year — and the EPA provides partners with procurement and communications assistance. As a partner, Navigant Consulting has committed to acquire renewable energy resources in the amount of 24,400 kWhs as part of its total electricity consumption for its corporate headquarters in Chicago during 2004. The Partnership now includes more than 220 organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, states, federal agencies, trade associations and universities.
