Company Issues Green RFP

April 10, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Split Rock Energy, which provides wholesale power marketing and trading services to its members, issued a Renewable Energy Request for Proposals (RFP) exclusively on behalf of Great River Energy (GRE), one of its members. Split Rock requests proposals for up to 100 megawatts of renewable generation. Contracts resulting from proposals will be for a term of up to 25 years. Target in-service date by the end of 2005. GRE is looking for a project(s) that will offer low price, deliverability, ownership options, preference for location within GRE’s service territory, and various megawatt output levels. Proposals will be due by April 30, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. A short list of qualified projects will be selected for in-depth evaluation.
