Comment Period on DOE’s Renewable Energy Plan Ends Sept. 7

Washington, DC [] In U.S. Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman’s Message to Stakeholders for the Department of Energy’s recently released 32-page Strategic Plan, he explains “The mission of the Department of Energy is to discover the solutions to power and secure America’s future. This Strategic Plan charts our course — focusing on Energy Security, National Security, and Science-Driven Technology Revolutions, while keeping our current commitments. Public comment is an important component in developing this Plan and I invite you to view the draft version of the Plan and provide comment. Please respond by September 7th to allow ample time for us to consider your views.” Readers may provide comments by following the link below. The Comment Period will officially end on September 7, 2006.
