Brazil to Take RE Plan to Johannesburg

May 21, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] Brazilian government officials will present a proposal for an international agreement to increase renewable sources of energy to 10 percent of global consumption over the next eight years. The Brazilian initiative will be presented at the World Conference on Sustainable Development, which runs August 25 to September 4 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
