Better World Club: Challenging the Highway Lobby

Americans who belong to automobile clubs like AAA may be surprised to know that their membership fees don’t always go toward the services advertised. Instead, many auto clubs use some of that money to lobby against stricter emissions standards, higher fuel economy standards and, in some cases, bicycle lanes. Mitch Rofsky, President of the Better World Club, joins us to talk about how his company is competing with other auto clubs through a mix of activism and greener alternative services.

Also in the podcast: Brian Hageman, inventor of the Natural Energy Engine, talks about how his thermal hydraulic engine may impact the energy sector. The thermal hydraulic device runs off heat and can replace virtually any engine.
