AEE Conference Shows Industry Progress

AEE Solar will hold it first national dealer conference in Mesa, Arizona next week. AEE Solar and 26 of the nation’s top solar equipment manufacturers and service providers will join with approximately 200 solar dealers and installers from around the country.

The conference shows the progress the solar industry has made toward the mainstream. According to David Katz, founder of AEE Solar, in 1979 when the company was founded, solar was little more than a NASA project. In the past several years AEE Solar’s growth has risen due in part to grid-tied solar and enlightened tax laws and utility regulations in states like California and Arizona. The conference will include training classes, product exhibits and presentations.

“This is a landmark event for us,” said AEE Solar CEO David Katz. “Our dealers have made us the fastest growing distributor in the solar industry. This event will help them build their businesses with training in solar products, installation and electrical code, sales, marketing, financing.”
