200 kW Solar Power Project Planned in San Antonio, Texas

A $1.35 million solar energy joint renovation project slated for the historic Pearl Brewery site in San Antonio, Texas, will have a 200-kilowatt (kW) array of solar panels installed atop the 67,000 square-foot warehouse being adapted for office, retail and residential use. It will also house a learning laboratory for green building and energy efficiency. CPS Energy and Silver Ventures will generate about one-quarter of the building’s energy needs.
