1.1 MW Solar PV System Uses Uni-Solar Panels

Rochester Hills, Michigan [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (ECD) announced the installation of its Uni-Solar ground- mounted amorphous thin-film photovoltaic (PV) panels to power the 1.1-megawatt (MW) solar energy system at Paramount Farms, Inc. Paramount’s installation, which spans eight acres, was completed by solar energy contractor SolarCraft, and is one of the largest single-site, privately owned solar energy systems in the U.S. The new system at Paramount, which is a global supplier of pistachios and almonds, will pay for itself in approximately six years.
