Xantrex Receives SunEdison’s US$1.7 M Solar Inverter Order

Xantrex Technology Inc. received a US$1.7 million purchase order for Xantrex grid-tie commercial solar inverters from SunEdison, LLC. Initial shipments will begin during the first quarter of 2007.

“We chose Xantrex after a comprehensive assessment of its product and we are confident in their commitment to deliver high quality, reliable, and efficient inverters for our growing customer base,” said Brian Jacolick, SunEdison vice president of sales and procurement. This contract is the result of Xantrex meeting the standards required by SunEdison of its vendors. Xantrex’s CEO John Wallace adds, “We will build on this partnership with SunEdison and see tremendous opportunity in working with this innovative solar provider.”
