Xantrex Ranked for Company Growth

October 20, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Solar photovoltaic inverter manufacturer Xantrex, has been named to the Deloitte & Touche Canadian Technology Fast 50 list. Companies are listed based on percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 1998-2002. Xantrex revenues increased 988 percent from 1998 to 2002, which resulted in a 36th place overall ranking in the Fast 50 list. Xantrex has won this distinction three times in a row, which they said is significant given the company’s size. To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must be controlled and headquartered in Canada, be a “technology company” defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues and/or devote a significant portion of revenues to research and development of technology.
