Vancouver, Canada [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Xantrex Technology Inc. announced recently that it has received an order valued at more than US $5.5 million from Nuevas Energias del Sureste S.A. for Xantrex’s GT 3.8-kilowatt (kW) grid-tie solar inverters.
The Xantrex solar inverters will be installed at three sites in Spain, including a 4-megawatt (MW) site and a 3-MW site in the region of Alhama and a 3-MW site in the region of Murcia. The delivery of the Xantrex GT3.8 kW grid-tie solar inverters will take place over the next six months.
Xantrex GT Series Solar Inverters convert direct current (DC) power from solar panels into alternating current (AC) power for the electricity grid. The GT Series Solar Inverters range from 2.5 kW to 5.0 kW and offer system integrators and installers the ability to meet the capacity requirements of a broad spectrum of solar system sizes, according to Xantrex.
