Xantrex Launches Solar Grid-Tie Inverter in Spain

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] With generous feed-in tariffs like those in Germany, the Spanish solar market is strong enough to draw market interest from around the globe. In this spirit, Canada-based Xantrex Technology launched their new GT 3.0E Solar Grid Tie Inverter to the Spanish market in Madrid, Spain at Genera 2005, the ninth edition of the International Energy and Environment Fair. The three-day fair covers the whole of the energy industry and includes an important presence from the solar energy sector. Xantrex first introduced the GT 3.0 in North America last October. Xantrex has a broad service network in Spain, offering a telephone hotline service and a two-day replacement service for the GT 3.0E. It is also backed by a five-year warranty and available now through partners in Spain including AET Albasolar and Technosun. The Xantrex GT 3.0E weighs 18.6 kilograms, light enough to be lifted by one person without assistance, and has a convenient mounting plate that makes installation easy. The GT 3.0E fulfills all European requirements including CE and RD 1663/2000 in Spain.
