Xantrex Adds Fiftieth Certified Dealer

Xantrex Technology Inc. has now qualified fifty dealers for its Xantrex Certified Dealer Program. Introduced a year ago, the program is designed to connect individuals interested in Renewable Energy products with qualified dealer/installers in their area.

Arlington, Washington – July 30, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] Xantrex plans to add another fifty dealers by the end of this year. Dealers participating in the program are required to have extensive experience in the installation and design of solar and other Renewable Energy systems and must successfully take a rigorous technical examination. Xantrex Certified Dealers must also demonstrate a serious commitment to excellence in sales and customer service. “As a leading supplier of the power electronics that convert Renewable Energy into useable AC power, Xantrex understands the importance of code compliance and the challenges of utility interconnection issues when it comes to installing Renewable Energy systems,” said Pagan Mackay, Xantrex Certified Dealer Program Manager. “We recognized the need to implement a certification process that acknowledges and supports technically competent Renewable Energy dealers who consumers can depend on.” The program bridges the gap between general interest in Renewable Energy and the installation of Renewable Energy systems. “The Certified Dealer Program makes it easy for consumers to research renewable energy options and locate reliable system dealer/installers in their area,” said Mackay. The Xantrex Certified Dealer web site provides information on Renewable Energy and connects interested individuals with a qualified dealer/installer in their area.
