Uganda Government Commits to Rural Solar

April 12, 2004 [SolarAccess.com]The Uganda government wants to spread solar power to all the country’s 230 counties by 2010, according to reports in All Africa.com. Thanks to US$12.5 million in funding, largely through partnerships with micro-finance institutions around the country, rural electrification could become a reality throughout the country.
