Trina Solar Limited Signs Polysilicon Agreement

Changzhou, China [] Trina Solar Limited signed a long-term supply agreement for polysilicon with DC Chemical (DCC) of Korea, in which DCC will supply polysilicon to Trina Solar over a seven-year period with a total contract value estimated at over US$120 million. Shipments are expected to begin in 2009. In July 2006, DCC announced its intention to enter the manufacturing of polysilicon and has already started the construction of its new plant, which is expected to be completed by 2008.
