Trina Solar Files IPO

Washington, DC [AP] Trina Solar Ltd., which makes solar-power products in China, has filed for an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange. Trina will be the second Chinese solar-products company going public in the United States. … The company didn’t disclose how many shares will be offered, nor did it provide an estimated price range for the offering, but it said the IPO could be worth up to $100 million.
